Consults
A consultation is the right first step if you are not sure what you need. Moreover, full evaluations are not always required.
Maybe you suspect you have a learning or processing problem, and you want to know more about your options. Who can you talk to? Are there books or websites you could look at? If you or your loved one needs an evaluation, what kind of testing would be best? How do you go about getting an evaluation?
Maybe you know something is going on with your child, but you wonder "Is it just a phase?" You might be asking yourself, "Is this really a problem, or just a bump in the road?"
Consultations are also a great option if you had an evaluation somewhere else, but don't understand the results. You'll have someone who can cut through the jargon and help you make sense of the results.
